October is Depression Awareness Month
| | |
| | | Across the world, there are 280 million people living with depression. That's a whole lot of people doing their best as friends, co-workers, partners, and parents, while navigating sometimes debilitating depression symptoms. The way we see it, there are 280 million people who deserve to be recognized. | | This Depression Awareness Month, we want to invite you to join Bezzy for Depression — a community where you can find the support you need from people who truly get it all year. Because no one living with depression should feel alone. | | I should know. My name is Sam Camp and I was diagnosed with depression in high school. After graduating, I struggled to find empowerment since my high school basketball coach and counselor had been my main sources of support. As I bounced from therapist to therapist, I turned to the internet to share my journey and find community — and I found it. Now I'm the guide for Bezzy for Depression — an online community for people living with depression. In our community, we share our stories, connect with others who get where we're coming from, and find resources that help us navigate living with depression. | | Bezzy offers: | This month and every month, Bezzy is here for you. | | Powered by community, empowered by each other. | | | |
