Recipe of the Week
Hot honey and red pepper flake cottage cheese on sourdough
I've been really digging the no-fuss, straightforward recipes I've shared lately — I hope you've felt the same! Broiling (or air frying) the bread and cottage cheese together creates a warm, melty toast. You could eat that on its own.
To take things a bit further, everything is topped with a drizzle of honey and a sprinkle of red pepper flakes. However, so many artisanal hot honeys are available in plenty of supermarkets these days. If you haven't tried a bottle or two before, I highly recommend exploring your options, just like you would with hot sauce!

Rorecay Banneton Proofing Basket Set
Like many people during the pandemic, I hopped on the sourdough bread baking trend. It became my personality. I like how the shape of these proofing baskets provides different surface area for scoring (when you slice into the dough with a sharp edge to help the bread expand evenly). When you're not baking bread, they can double as fruit baskets, too!
